What happens when my account undergoes Compliance process?
We are able to work with citizens of any country to open a bank account. Each account will still undergo the necessary due diligence of our banking partners.
In some cases, accounts will undergo the compliance review process and they need to request additional information and supporting documents. This is part of the bank's due diligence on certain accounts, especially when opening an account remotely. When the account goes to compliance, Bordr nor the branch that's handling the account has no influence over the timing and handling. This usually delays the account opening process for a couple of weeks.
