When will I receive my Portugal temporary residence card?

As a non-European citizen relocating to Portugal, you will receive your temporary residence card after you attend your AIMA (formerly SEF) appointment.

Here's the order of events:

1. Apply for visa

3. Move to Portugal
4. Attend AIMA (formerly SEF) appointment
5. Receive temporary residence card
